Rosa`s Florence Mexican Restaurant in Florence

We go here a lot. The best Mexican food in Florence! Tonite: Carnitas Special with rice, beans, pico, guac & homemade white corn tortillas. Yum! Their margaritas are amazing too!

Have eaten here 5 or 6 times and have not been disappointed. Today was meat stuffed chili relleno and it was delicious. Previously had mole chicken enchiladas which was also great. Would recommend this restaurant.

Service was amazing!!! The food wasn't great but the salsa was the best I've ever had!! I had shredded beef taquitos with rice and beans. The rice has zero flavor, literally....none!!! It tasted like minute rice. The beans were ok, a tad bland. The beef wasn't flavored in my taquitos! They really need to work on adding a little flavor and definitely work on the rice! It could've just been this dish! We will give it another try. I definitely won't have the rice :-(

The atmosphere was great, the servers were very kind and knowledgeable. The only thing I could say is the salsa could have been hotter, but that's just a preference because I like hot salsa. The food was delicious; I ordered the deluxe wet burrito with Chile Verde and it was so good. I couldn't finish it, so I was able to take it home and have it for leftovers. 10/10 would recommend if you're in Florence and want a good Mexican restaurant.

I've never had a bad experience at Rosa's. The food is good, they make their corn tortillas and that makes it for me. If I want cardboard tortillas I'll go to the store and buy them, I care enough to make them at home and feel like if I'm paying for it, it better be as good or better than I can make it. Rosa's is better. Give this little restaurant a try.

Good salsa, but I don't like hot lettuce and melted cheese on my tacos.

Stopped there for dinner on our way home from high school soccer playoffs. The staff was super friendly got us seated right away. They excellent care of us. Service was great and the food was amazing. Fresh and hitThis is a must visit place

Best nachos and the service was awesome

Small place w/a nice warm, friendly atmosphere. Food & service excellent. Had a quesadilla with generous portions of sour cream & guacamole. Margarita was excellent.

The food wasn't as good as I remember, however it was still very enjoyable.

Had a fajita salad, minus black beans to make low carb. Chicken seasoned nicely, over real greens. Nice to find something I could enjoy!

Margariettas were heavily watered down, and after politely mentioning that and I even offered to pay for a new one to fix it i was still me with poor service from older the gentlemen. I ordered the taco salad which was very small for an 11 dollar plate, the fried tortilla was also soft and under cooked.

Try to visit every time I'm in town...always worth it. Good food, great people!

Food was meh. I had the wet burrito, and the so called "red sauce"?? Tomato soup!! Yucky! The burrito itself was passable, but certainly nothing to write home about. My wife had the nachos and she said they were just okay on flavor. The one high point? The Pina Colada was AWESOME! Great flavor with the addition of grenadine liqueur. 😋😋

Food is great. Generous portions. Friendly wait staff. Rosa has put her own spin on traditional Mexican food and it is delicious. From her own specials to the more familiar dishes, all are done with skill and flavorful touches. Inside the restaurant is comfortable and charmingly decorated. Highly recommend!

AVOID! THIS IS NO LONGER ROSA'S! This used to be a fantastic Mexican place that we would stop at anytime we drove through Florence. We will never stop there again after our last visit. The entire place is different. It was obviously sold, as the sweet mexican folks that were always there before were replaced by Americana and old white people food. The chimi i ordered had literally zero flavor, just like the rice and beans. I could only take two bites of each it was so bad. My wife said she took two bites of her taco salad and got angry because it had so little flavor.Its like the place was bought by people that think Azteca serves good Mexican food and wanted to copy that 'style'. You know, tasteless to not offend the old white folks.At least the salsa was still decent enough.Never going there again. Sad to see a good restaurant ruined.

The salsa is incredibly delicious. All ingredients are fresh and flavors of all are well married. The staff is very personable and provides excellent service to it's customers. We have dined there since it opened in 2013. It's our go to restaurant in Florence. Rosa is an excellent chef. And we recommend it highly.

Good food, really fast service

The service was good but what they served was stale and smelt like dirty socks especially the rice. The chips and salsa also tasted stale and flavorless. I ordered a Chimichanga and the wife ordered a taco plate the tacos were hard and stale and flavorless the chimichanga was packed with meat and beans and flavorless and the tortilla shell smelled moldy. The refried beans which probably came out of a can were the only thing that was halfway edible. The best part of it was the xx Amber. Taco Bell is better and that it’s hard to say. I hope I don’t get sick.

Our VERY FAVORITE restaurant anywhere for food. Have been eating at Rosa's for years and have been known to drive 300 miles to get there for dinner. Love the owners who treat us and everyone else like family. Highly recommend them.
